EEC certification of electric vehicles is a compulsory road certification for exporting to the EU, EEC certification, also called COC certification, WVTA certification, type approval, HOMOLOGATIN. This is the meaning of EEC when asked by customers.
On January 1, 2016, the new standard 168/2013 was officially implemented. The new standard is more detailed in the classification of EEC certification. The purpose of the regulations is to distinguish them from automobiles.
Electric vehicle EEC certification, mandatory four conditions, please note:
1. WMI World Vehicle Identification Number
2. ISO certificate (please pay attention to the production scope and expiration time, and conduct supervision and audit in time),
3. E-MARK certificates for parts, lamps, tires, horns, rear-view mirrors, reflectors, seat belts, and glass (if any) if available, purchase samples with E-MARK logo and provide complete E-mark Certificate, but also consider the follow-up supply issues, using the purchased E-MARK certificate, you will need to use this accessory manufacturer in the future. If it can’t be used, the EEC certificate for the whole vehicle will be extended in the future. The purchases are all certification certificates that belong to a single product.
4. An EU manufacturer authorized representative, which can be a European company or a European individual. After meeting the above four conditions, the EEC of the whole vehicle can be started, and the application form, drawing template and technical parameter template will be provided to the factory for testing and certification.
